To accomplish this, Dr. Birriel uses a series of techniques to relieve your TMD symptoms. We start by reshaping your teeth to balance the biting surfaces and remove any unevenness or irritant such as an individual tooth, or part of a tooth, that is too high. After equilibration, we restore and replace any teeth that need it and take impressions for your own, custom made occlusal guard. This occlusal guard eliminates bite disharmony and protects your teeth from further damage.
