Family Dentistry

and Replacement Dentistry in Morgan City

If you are missing a tooth or teeth, you know how frustrating it can be. But did you know that it could also lead to the loss of other teeth, jawbone loss, and TMJ/TMD pain? We have a number of excellent tooth replacement solutions, custom created for you.

Bridges

Dental bridges created by Dr. Jane Birriel are so beautiful no one will notice that they aren’t your own. A dental bridge consists of individually designed and crafted teeth, anchored to two healthy teeth and filling the space in which a tooth has been lost. For tooth replacement, bridges stabilize your surrounding teeth to keep them from shifting and keep your gums healthy.

Full & Partial Dentures

Missing teeth make you look older, may cause eating difficulties, and be emotionally devastating. But the wrong kind of dentures can be almost as bad. Ill-fitting dentures look artificial, are hard to wear, irritate your gums and sometimes contribute to bone loss as well. Our dentures are made to fit just you so that they are much less likely to slip or clack, while maintaining and enhancing your youthful smile. If you are missing just one or two teeth, we can even use the Snap-On Smile® as a removable partial denture. Snap-On Smiles are a non-invasive, easy to use, and affordable approach to replacing your teeth and repairing your smile.

Full-Mouth Restoration

If your teeth have a lot of damage or decay, don’t worry. Our compassionate approach combined with our full-mouth restoration techniques will have you smiling again in no time!

Full mouth dental restoration is the individual repair and rejuvenation of your teeth to bring balance, health, and harmony to your mouth. We start with a restoration evaluation and preparation, removing any old or damaged restorations, taking measurements for a balanced bite and getting impressions for new restorations. When your new crowns, bridges, or other restorations are completed by the lab, we will place them to completely rehabilitate your smile.

When TMD problems are involved in the damage and discomfort, we might begin full-mouth smile restoration by measuring your bite and offering an orthotic or splint therapy before restoration begins to help align your bite for best results.
